Pedro Leão Neto (FAUP) presented the paper “About Education in Architecture: Visual Spaces of Change” in Session 8. Challenges in Design Curriculum.in the EAAE Annual Conference + General Assembly 2022 “Towards a New European Bauhaus” that took place at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura - Universidad Politécnica de Madrid - 31 August - 2 September.

The EAAE Annual Conference “Towards a New European Bauhaus”, which counted also with the participation of João Pedro Xavier, Teresa Calix and José Pedro Sousa with the paper “The Question of Housing in the scope of NEB goes South (NEBgS)” is a hybrid event hosted by the ETSAM School of Architecture in Madrid. The main topic is the New European Bauhaus, an ambitious ecological, economic, and cultural project initiated by the European Commission but open to everyone. By bringing a strong critical background to its proposal, the EC shuns the revival of the Bauhaus as a mere brand and transforms it into a productive engine to address the problems of the 21st century.
