Ângela Mendes Ferreira, pseudónimo "ANGELA BERLINDE", nasceu no Porto, em 1975, e estudou na Utrecht School of Arts, Amsterdam. Começou a expor em 1998 e, desde então, apresentou inúmeras exposições individuais na Europa, no Brasil. Reside a trabalha no Porto. Recentemente viu seu trabalho nomeado como Fotógrafa do Ano para a categoria de Emoções da BBC e foi vencedora do international contest of Photography "Water and Youth" da Argentina. Ângela Berlinde tem o seu trabalho representado nas galerias Mário Sequeira em Braga; Museu da Imagem e do Som de Fortaleza; Museu de Arte Contemporânea de Dragão do Mar, ambos no Brasil; Photographic Museum of Amsterdam na Holanda. Foi diretora do Festival Internacional de Fotografia Encontros da Imagem, em Braga. Leciona no IPP, dá frequentemente conferências e workshops.
