TADZIO: SANS TITRE V

November 19, 2018

TADZIO: SANS TITRE V

scopio aboveground: city

The main theme, in Tadzio’s photographs, is the human condition.
As if he were standing on a theatre stage, the man is very often represented alone and reduced to a mere silhouette, surrounded by a scenery of glass façades or metallic doors, down contemporary buildings.
For his images, Tadzio favours a cold, impersonal environment. The vertical and horizontal lines of the architectures that compose his photos can be reminiscent of a prison gate. No particular detail interferes in our sight, which makes these surroundings even more hostile. The loneliness and fragility of the human nature become striking here. The man simply crosses quickly the space represented, seeking a way out.
The reduction in information summarizes Tadzio’s project. Using no special effect, he shows us the reality in all its brutality, so as to better discuss human fragility.

Text written by Jean Brolly, Jean Brolly gallery, 2008

The man is alone and reduced to a mere silhouette, surrounded by a scenery of glass façades or metallic doors, down contemporary buildings : the city.
