About the OLIM book
OLIM corresponds to a personal reflection by Camilo Rebelo about his experience of life and work. This book is a nonlinear narrative, where memory, identity and places are linked to one another in a rhizomatic way, through various stories about his personal and professional life. OLIM challenges readers to search for a meaning in the fragments of journeys and projects that shows us through images combined with diverse thoughts, creating a visual discourse where there is room for coherence, and for paradox and play, too, the oxymoron. OLIM is therefore in everything different from a traditional book, as can be understood by Eduardo Souto de Moura words when he writes that OLIM "... which is not so much a book, but more of a file, and that is why it is called Fichas, just as Wittgenstein put about 700 fragmentary notes in a box, which were not “kept forever, but worked on, changed and perfected, as cuttings.

SCOPIO EDITIONS AUTHOR’S BOOK COLLECTION is a publishing space aimed both at authors who wish to communicate the practice and discipline of architecture through books that combine writing, images and multiple fields of knowledge, and at authors of photographic projects linked to documentary and artistic photography of architecture, cities and territories.
We aim to promote the author's book as a unique means of communicating multiple perspectives and articulating diverse forms of expression in architecture, art and image. This implies, on the one hand, a special focus on photographic projects that reconcile the artistic and documentary universe, generating synergies capable of providing an innovative reading and a unique understanding of contemporary architecture. On the other hand, it involves paying particular attention to images, photography, and drawing as exploratory tools in the process of architectural design and construction that can enrich and expand this creative journey.
Published with respect for the specific timeframes of architecture and related areas, these books offer a comprehensive view of interest to specialists and the public.
