PHOTOGRAPHY AND MODERN ARCHITECTURE IN SPAIN
This book includes the conversation of the Debate around the theme "Photography and Modern Architecture in Spain" with Iñaki Bergera, coordinator of FAME project. This Debate was integrated in the 2015 Cycle of discussions, gatherings and workshops, related to the photography course at Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto. These cycles were opened to the entire academic community and also to external groups and institutions that have an interest in practice and disciplines of photography and architecture.

About this Collection
Debates collection is the publishing medium for authors who have participated in conferences, debates, projects or works of interest or of significant quality, which promote the critical debate on images of architecture. Architecture is here taken broadly, as a subject and practice capable of integrating the socioeconomic, political, historical and technical domains. This means, among other things, to think about the role of images in the understanding of reality and in the construction of the imaginary, between document and fiction, between reproduction and manipulation, between analogue and digital. The collection, open to different events, will be the main publishing medium for the Debates cycle integrated in the Photography course at FAUP and the international conference “On the surface”.
